Water treatment
Whole-home water filtration
A whole-home filter treats the water where it enters the house, so every faucet and shower gets it. It handles sediment, chlorine taste and smell, the things a softener doesn't touch, and it's usually installed alongside one, not instead of it.

When it's worth it
- Chlorine taste or smell in the tap water
- Sediment or cloudiness after work on the city water main
- You want filtered water for showers and laundry, not just for drinking
- You're already putting in a softener and want both done at once
What we do
- 01
Work out what you're actually trying to remove
- 02
Size the system so it doesn't choke the flow to the house
- 03
Install it at the main with a bypass for servicing
- 04
Show you the cartridge schedule so it keeps working
What decides the price
It follows the system and the plumbing at the entry point: whether there's a loop, how the main is run, and whether a softener is going in at the same time. We give the estimate in person, once we’ve seen the job.

Whole-home water filtration: questions and answers
Filter or softener: which do I need?
A softener removes hardness minerals that cause scale. A filter reduces sediment, chlorine and taste. Many Valley homes want both, and they're usually installed together at the same point.
Does it need servicing?
Yes, cartridges have a life. We install with a bypass so that's a simple job, and we tell you the schedule when we hand it over.
