Toilet repair and replacement
Most toilet problems are a worn part inside the tank and a short repair. The ones worth replacing are the toilets that leak at the base, crack, or flush so poorly that they clog every week. We'll tell you which one you have before we start.

When to call
- A toilet that runs, or refills on its own
- Water on the floor around the base
- A flush that won't clear the bowl
- Rocking when you sit on it, which is usually the flange or the bolts
- A crack anywhere in the china
What we do
- 01
Repair the tank parts where that's the whole problem
- 02
Reset the toilet with a new wax seal and bolts where it's leaking at the base
- 03
Replace the flange when that's what failed
- 04
Install a new toilet when the old one is past repair
What decides the price
A tank repair and a full replacement are different jobs. Which one you need depends on what failed, and you hear that before anything comes apart. We give the estimate in person, once we’ve seen the job.

Toilet repair and replacement: questions and answers
My toilet keeps running. Repair or replace?
Usually repair. A flapper or a fill valve is a worn part, not a dead toilet. If the china is cracked or it leaks at the base every time it's reset, that's when replacing wins.
Why is there water around the base?
Most often the wax seal or the flange below it. It needs pulling and resetting properly. Mopping and caulking around it just hides a leak that's reaching the subfloor.
